While on our way to our yoga class last wkend, we spotted this SUPER fat cat at the carpark, zzz-ing on a car spoiler! So relaxed and oblivious even when I called out for it.

Finally chopped off my locks!! Now spotting a shoulder length messy wake-up-look hair... Hahaha... Soon it will be short crop hair for me... Hee...

Lydia's Bday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Li!!

Due to everyone's tight schedule, we celebrated my best friend's Lydia's birthday @ East Coast Park (Fort Road). We dined at a restaurant opposite Carl's Junior (can't remember the name) & it was quite an experience!

Just as we started digging into our food, the staffs closed the overhead awning right above us & the rainwater fell on our tables & right into all our dishes. Yucks! No choice they have to change all our food... 

Eythan's bday again (18 July)

For the first time, his friends had a mini bday party for him @ Vivo Marche! Though he keep saying he doesn't celebrate bday as it is like any other day to him, but I know he was actually quite touched by their thoughts. 

This boy has words of steel, heart of mashmallow.

Got my boy a mini cake as a surprise at midnight 15 July!

As for the gift, we bought it from Italy, and it's mainly for his work. I wanted to buy him this for a long time because he always have everything in this pants, and as a result, some pants gave way! Haha... No kidding!
Compared to brands like LV & Prada where the inside is fabric, this Bally pouch has got real good & soft leather, on the inside and outside! Never bought such expensive bday gifts for anyone in my entire life! (Well, he got me a LV... no choice! Ha...)

Went Vivo for a show and nice dinner the next day. The cinema was full house as it was the 1st day of Red Cliff. Luckily we booked online the day before.

Eili's bday

It's our little gal's birthday, again!! 4 years old now... Our family had a BBQ at Pasir Ris Park on the weekend.

13 June (not July!! :p ) - In our hotel suite

The next day after a long day post-wedding chores to clear, we pampered ourselves with yummy black pepper crab from a chinese restaurant in Mohd Sultan.

Our wedding DAY 12 June 08

It was 7am in the morning for my makeup at my sister’s house (at Serangoon) and I was still drowsy from running nose pills I took the night before. So not going to post any photos of “before” here! Haha…

The only Ah Yi who came on time was Diana, who wore a beautiful short gown from my bridal studio. We have to pull the strings to her dress so tight she screeeeeamed (if not, you will see her arms to her side all morning).

The rest of the girls came & immediately sprung into actions! They prepared the sabotage (as usual the Sour-Sweet-Bitter-Hot) and moved some furnitures in the house for the “stage” so that when the groom enters the room, he sees only Jewel, Abi’s little girl. Haha…

Sour = sour plums
Sweet = banana puree (Eythan’s nightmare)
Bitter = homemade bitter herbal tea (Eythan finished it alone cos it’s nothing to him)

Hot = wasabi in oreo cookies.

Part of the sabotage also includes getting them to sing “一 人一半” using the giant “microphone” balloon (which Lydia inflated herself!), and the boys to wear funny wigs & do the pole dancing. It is usual for the Groom’s brothers to look stupid for this day! Haha…

After sabotage (which lasted like forever), we left for Eythan’s house (at Bt Merah), had the tea ceremony with all his relatives and then quickly return to my sister’s house for another round. Soooo tired when finally can rest at our hotel suite at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel.

Flashback - Pre-wedding event

Went for manicure & pedicure with all my Ah Yis the day before my big day @ Polished Divas. Watched this movie "P.S.: I love U" as the mani-pedi ladies did our nails. Although we made quite a hell of noise in the room, I managed to understand the show a little. Quite a touching sad love movie. http://psiloveyoumovie.warnerbros.com/

As I worked in a big firm, there no chance to invite all to my wedding. Therefore, I ordered cupcakes for those not attending our wedding. Look how cute they are!
